Red Rat's mark of respect for Zimbabwe

Rise up Zimbabwe

Rise up Zimbabwe -this is a new dancehall hit from Red Rat saluting the Zimbabwean youths especially those in the ghetto. He can't wait to put his foot in Harare especially in Mbare. In the lyrics, Red Rat hints his view on the current state of affairs on Zimbabwe in an artistic way, as he says: Never let Babylon take you down, Rise up Zimbabwe.

The latest hit from Red Rat and is full of extol for the Zimbabwean way of life. He calls Zimbabwe the Motherland and he encourages Zimbabwe not to despair but to rise up and show that we are a people and we ought to be content with our native land. The song also appreciates Zimbabwean woman whom Red Rat forcefully declare to be African queens.

The hit is also full of humor as it gives enough respect to ghetto giants in Mbare and the splashy suburb of Greystone Park, Borrowdale. Released to Zimpartypeople yesterday (14 April 2010), Red Rat's A&R manager simZZbelieves the song is going to be a hit here in Zimbabwe as it has already caused mayhem in  the United States at the moment. Already the song has an official remix that feature Winky D, Chipo Sarudzai and the producer JUSA.

Zimpartypeople believes that this is an opportunity for the country's tourism sector to benefit from such a song. Red Rat has actually put another leaf on Zimbabwean's tourism cap, considering that the FIFA 2010 world cup is just around the corner, this is the apt time for Zimbabwe to market its hospitality industry through musicians like Red Rat. The song is in full of honor and it can appeal to the world that Zimbabwe is a country full of potential with its natural wonders like the Victoria Falls and its friendly people who are hospitable.

To Red Rat keep the fire burning- enough respect from the ghetto youths in Mbare and Rastafarians in Borrowdale big up and rise up man selector, Jah bless.
